Things to do in Auburn, NY

Summer festivals

Hop in your car and start exploring the Auburn area today. There are tons of local events taking place around the city, and the month of June is particularly packed with summer events that are great for discovering the region. Whether you’re looking for a fun family activity or you simply want to explore the Auburn area, there are many memorable things to do in Auburn.

Starting on June 1st, there will be several events that are open to the community. For example, the Beverly Animal Shelter will have a huge garage sale at Rodman Lott & Son Farm from 9am to 5pm. There’s a Public Poetry event at the Auburn Public Theater at 2pm that day. There’s also a pizza throw-down and children’s items sale at Westminster Nursery School from 6pm to 8 pm.

On June 9th, attend the Taste of Summer event at Deauville Island at Emerson Park. The event starts at noon, and there will be bands, food, drinks, and more. Lasting until 8pm, this event is one you won’t want to miss.

Other June events include the Famer’s Market of Cayuga County, which happens at Curley’s Restaurant lot from 7am to 2pm every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. There’s also the Downtown Seafood Fest on June 23rd, and the Music on the Mall starts in June 29th—a series of free live outdoor performances downtown on the second and fourth Fridays of June, July, August, and September.

We at Sharon Chevrolet love serving the Auburn area because there’s always so much going on.
