Chevrolet has announced its plans to add Super Cruise capabilities to the Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Suburban for 2023. This advanced hands-free driving technology will be available on the Premier and High Country trims. Both the 2023 Tahoe and 2023 Suburban started production on July 18 and will arrive at dealerships like Auburn Chevrolet later this year.
With Super Cruise technology activated, you can take your hands off the steering wheel and enjoy a less demanding driving experience on the highway. Super Cruise is currently compatible with more than 200,000 miles of freeways in the United States and Canada. Here in upstate New York, you can cruise across I-90 or down I-81. There are even more compatible roads around Syracuse.
As GM continues to improve its Super Cruise system, the technology now offers advanced functions like automatic lane changes and the ability to activate Super Cruise while towing a trailer. This is useful for long road trips in New York and can help combat driver fatigue. While Super Cruise does allow you to take your hands off the steering wheel, you still have to remain alert and keep your eyes on the road the entire time.
If you want to enjoy the ease of Super Cruise and you can’t wait for the 2023 model year to arrive, you can check out what’s available now in 2022. Models for sale at Auburn Chevrolet Buick GMC with optional Super Cruise include the 2022 Silverado 1500 and the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV.
